I am playing along with a couple of challenges today using some Reverse Confetti goodies to create a fall themed card.

I used the Happy Harvest stamp and die along with the Tall Stripe Die... for a CAS card.  Once again... I'm a sucker for anything acorny.... ;)

I based the sketch... loosely... on this one from the Fall to Layout for this week:

The theme is from:

Instant Pumpkin Spice mix...

Hi guys... I'm up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog with a fun little project.

I made some Instant Pumpkin Spice Mix (recipe at end) and of course had to package it up.  I used a Burlap sack (a plastic bag inside) from SRM Stickers

The paper is once again the Woodland Forest collection by Pebbles and the stamp set is from Right at Home.  A little fussy cutting, a little coloring and done!

Don't forget to participate in the hop - lots of great prizes are up for grabs!
Now here is the mix recipe:

Hello Fall....

Once again.... I have a card for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop...

I used the Squared Off Panel from Reverse Confetti.  I like the texture it adds when tone on tone.

I then stitched around the edges without thread.  The acorn dies are from Cas-ual Fridays... now I think I need the coordinating stamp ;)  The Hello Fall sentiment is from Studio L2E.  I then had to stick in the pumpkin spice because, that is definitely part of fall ;)

A Purrfect Scrappy Sunday with My Mind's Eye

When I saw this picture that my daughter took of my grand daughter and her cat... I knew which collection I was going to use ;)

I used bits of pieces from the kit, as well as the chipboard elements and I even trimmed parts from the journaling cards. The journaling block is just made from some of the pattern paper.

And yes... the title... don't you think it is purrfect?   Oh and did you notice my grand daughter's pjs?

Olive You

A quick card today, not coffee related but still food related ;)  When I saw the stamp set, Foodie Fun by Reverse Confetti, I knew I had to have it.  If you follow me on Facebook you will understand why.  Hubby and I did a European cruise in the summer and anytime we were at a market this is where I would find him:

.... at the olive or olive oil bar.

Thus I had to have this set:

So whipped up a quick olive you card :)  I'm sure he will relate, LOL.  I used some new Christmas paper from SU!

Cocoa and marshmallows

Have you been hopping along with the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop?  Be sure to... as there are lots of prizes up for grabs!

I decided to create a few cards for the hop and this is my second.... the rest will be coming up on other days :)

For this card I used the Jack collection by CTMH, it is retired but again, the woodsy feel and plaid had me!

I paired it up with the Mug Hugs stamp by Sunny Studio.

The mug and sentiments are mounted on foam squares.

Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop - Hot Chocolate gift pack

Hi everyone and welcome to the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop!  I hope you have been hopping along and leaving comments.... lots of great prizes up for grabs!

Today, in thinking of fall I thought of our family outings to go get wood when I was a littlg girl, which of course always included some hot chocolate.  Now there is also something about a good red and black plaid that makes my heart happy and I think it is just because it brings back many good childhood memories of comfort.

Anyways, onto the projects.  I have used my very hoarded Hot Cocoa pack from American this pack.

First up, I started with a card.  The CLC Design Team was very lucky to get this fun new stamp set from Echo Park and I knew I would use it to create a hot chocolate card.

I paired it up with the Hot Cocoa die set from MFT.

Now for a real fall feel, I added some plaid scarves to the mugs and some vellum wind current (both dies from Echo Park).  The mugs are mounted on foam squares.  That whip cream.... it is topped with real hot chocolate - which by the way, came by accident.

When filling up the tube for the next project, I spilled some onto the card... I thought it looked great so I added more!  What do you think?

Next up... I decided to create a coordinating hot chocolate gift pack using some SRM Tall Boxes.  They were very quick and easy to decorate.

The mittens and mug are from an Echo Park die set.  For the sentiment, I stamped the same Hot Chocolate sentiment as on my card above, but just trimmed off the words I didn't want.  To add to the fall theme, I added some punched maple leaves.  The tubes are filled with hot chocolate, marshmallows and chocolate chips.

My 18 year old nephew and his girlfriend just moved to town as it is cheaper to live here than where they are from... I just may give this little set as a 'house/appartment/welcome' gift :)

Now be sure to keep on hopping and leaving comments.... lots of great prizes to be won!  You might want to start at the CLC Blog.
