Long Time no Chick Chat

My second post for today, please scroll for my Wee Memories post:

I was inspired by the colors in this photo inspiration from Papercraft Star:

I used this sketch from Skipping Stones:

And some older Bella Blvd papers along with a journal card from Pretty Little Studio and a Skipping Stones stamp set.

Spring

Time for another Wee Memories challenge, this week it is Paper Piecing - one of my favorite techniques!

This week we are sponsored by Tiffany Doodles.

I got to play with Ducky Umbrella.  I paired it up with some Bella Blvd paper (so perfect for our spring here - soooo.... much rain!).  I have also used a label from Pretty Little Studio and some SRM stickers.  The grass is cut with my Cricut and the clouds are cut with PTI felt and die.  The duck is mounted on foam squares.  This is for the Do You Stack Up challenge - 3D and the Shoe challenge - and Stamp Something challenge - wings

Rainbow mom

Friends with Flair time again and it gave me a good excuse to use my new Unity set that arrived in the mail yesterday.  I have actually been battling what I think is a sinus infection this week, trying to get through it myself with no antibiotics (and lots of saline sniffing, lol) so the mojo has been a little lacking.

I used The Shabby Tea Room challenge as inspiration:

I took the inspiration literally and I didn't sway much this time.  This is also for the CCEE challenge - butterflies; the Little Red Wagon challenge and the City Crafter challenge - mom.
Can't wait to use more of these fun images from this months kit.

Classy and Fabulous

I love this weeks Tuesday Trigger:

I used the Twisted Cards sketch - the twist being Yellow.

Are you tired of this woman image yet? I paired her this time with another Unity sentiment and a frame from Gina K.  The paper is Hello Sunshine from Cosmo Cricket.  I also incorporated The Paper Variety challenge - polka dots.

Fashionably Late

When I saw the Squigglefly challenge this week I had to play - black and white.  I am not a 'girly girl' but once in awhile I like to make a girly card.  This challenge gave me that excuse and the card only took minutes, gotta love that!  I used the Textile Set Fills and the sentiment from the Fashion Sentiments collection.

Be Your Own

Second post for today.

There is another sketch challenge at the Cosmo Cricket blog:

I used the new Upcycle kit and a couple of Unity stamps to make a card:

Mom

Hope that everyone had a good weekend.  I am so glad to have another day off.  It has been a busy weekend for me, starting with Danica's birthday party on Friday - she did a big Scavenger hunt and had 3 adults driving the kids around town, which then led to a sleepover party.  Saturday out of town for Easter dinner, then on Sunday trying to clean, do laundry get caught up around here!

This is my final week as a guest at Lollipop Crafts.  It has been fun and I want to thank Alanna for asking me. The theme this week is Shabby Chic.  I used some of my old stash for this one.  The background paper is My Mind's Eye Lifestories, the image is on some Basic Grey, the twine is May Arts and the lace is cut from an old pillow case I got at our Free Store.  The letters and flowers are from Prima.  I also lightly stamped over the image with my Unigy Music Background.  This is also for the Some Odd Girl challenge - mom and the Creative Inspirations challenge - digi.

Friends like Flowers

My third post for today, be sure to scroll.

I used or shall I say I was inspirted by Chupa's sketch since I did sway a bit from it ;)

I also used this week's Tuesday Trigger:

I also incorporated the Frosted Designs challenge - birds or butterflies.  I fussy cut the flowers from some pattern paper in the Mix and Mend line by Sassafras Lass, the sentiment is a Unity one.

Blissful Days

I really liked last week's sketch from Creative Scrappers and am happy to finally use it.

I used Echo Park Springtime paper and stickers (that were in my April YSS kit) to scrap this old photo of Danica and I she was 3 at the time, how time flies.  I also used some Unity stamps (Everyday Adorable and the July 2010 Stampin Store Kit).  It is also for the Cricut Circle challenge - Mom and Me - have to use 2 Cricut cuts (cloud and sun from Going Places) and the Little Red Wagon challenge - clouds.

Happy Birthday Little Boy

Happy Easter Everyone!

Time for another Pretty Palette Color Challenge at MTME

I used the sketch from Techno Stamper:

I used some Echo Park Little Boy paper and an image from the On Display Digi set.  I did double duty with this card as it is also for my challenge at the Scrap Shotz forum - to make a CAS birthday card... the twist - include something on foam dots - my clouds and plane are.  I made this for a little guy in my class.  I also have made this for the Etsy Inspired Challenge as I chose this item as my inspiration.  This is also for the challenge at Yvonne's blog - dimension.

Thanks Bunches

My second post for today please scroll for my Wee Memories challenge.

When I saw the 365 Card Challenge I had to play.  I have this Amber Ink image and now finally had a good reason to use it!  I think it would be a great thank you card for the hosts of Easter dinner, which makes it also fit the Crazy 4 Challenges - Easter.  The paper is that good old Garden Variety by Cosmo Cricket.  The sentiment is CTMH Noodge font.

Put Your Party Dress On

Here is this week's sketch from Gina K:

I decided to use my Cosmo Cricket Upcycle papers a Gina K stamp and a Unity sentiment.  This also fits The Crazy Challenge - friendship; Die Cuttin Divas - use a tag (I have a CC tag and I used my Cricut to cut the card shape); Cupcake Craft - layers.
