Altered Halloween Trinket Boxes

I am so excited to bring you my first project as a Lessology DT member!  Our challenge this week is Trinket boxes, so fun!  We are sponsored by Market Street Stamps so be sure to play along!

I picked these up at a garage sale during the summer.  I already posted my altered purse here.

I used the other two boxes to make some Halloween boxes.  I thought they would make great decorations or I could make some Halloween goodies to put in them and give them away, I haven't decided yet.  Perhaps I'll make some goodies and keep the boxes ;)  First I spray painted the boxes black then I just went to work layering and stitching some Echo Park Apothecary paper which I easily added using my Xyron, added some twine from The Twinery and voila, some Halloween Trinket boxes.  This is for Lynn's Recycle challenge.

Just a view of both of the boxes.

For the smaller box I used this week's sketch from Eat Sleep Stamp:

I used a Martha Stewart around the edge border punch for the web border so this fits the Frosted Designs challenge - punches.  Love the charcoal twine from The Twinery for Halloween!  This and the other box also fit the Little Red Wagon Challenge - twine (such a challenge for me ;) )  I used my new Theresa Collins Cricut cartridge to cut out the spider.  I used Glue Dots to hold the twine in place as well as the spider's legs so that he has more dimension.

For the larger box I used this sketch from Crop and Create.

Again some more punches and twine but all the rest is from Echo Park.

I love how these turned out and would love to see what you do.  Be sure to link up at Lessology for your chance to win some Market Street Stamps!
