Hip Hip Hooray Celebrate

Not a lot of time to play today as I have to get ready for our vacation (you know the fun stuff like clean, laundry, packing) as we head out first thing tomorrow.  However I really liked this week's sketch at 2Peas so I decided to make a CAS card that followed the sketch.  I used my Pebbles Hip, Hip, Hooray collection.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

Here is the sketch this week from Kimber:

Silver Style

yay, I am done school finally!  So looking forward to my summer.

Well since I had my Pebbles Fresh Goods collection out the other day and was just playing, I decided to do a layout too.  Negative die cuts are in right now so I used my Cricut to cut a title into a Jillibean Soup tag and my PTI butterfly die to cut out a butterfly.  I have also been seeing a lot of grid projects so I decided to give it a go.  I am not one for 'even' or symmetrical I like unsymmetrical better so I had to play around a bit to come up with something I was happy with.  I used some denim tabs from hubby's old jeans as an embellishment as well as some Trendy Twine.

Now a few close ups:

You're Hot

Today is the final day of the There She Goes New Releases Sneak Peeks.  Today we are showcasing the Get Well Wishes set.

For my card I used the 2wenty Th3re papers and stickers by Cosmo Cricket.  I thought this would make a great just because card for hubby one day.  I was inspired by the new sketch over at Got Sketch.

Don't forget to take advantage of the sale, it ends tomorrow.

Thank Heaven for Little Boys

This was up on the Nikki Sivils blog yesterday but I played along with the Cricut Circle challenge when I made it so I am posting it here today.  I used my Cricut Art Philosophy to cut the pennant and the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge to cut out the stars.  All the supplies are from Nikki Sivils Noah collection, except the twine: Divine Twine.

Baby Boy overalls

My third post for today.  For the TSG post go here, and my Inspired By post is here.

It is my day up on the Nikki Sivils blog today and I have quite a few projects for you.  All of the projects use my Cricut in one way or another.  Here I have used my Freshly Picket cricut cartridge and the Noah collection to create a cute little shaped card.  The sentiment is from  the Priceless Joy set from The Alley Way Stamps.  The talking bubble is cut with a My Favorite Things Die.

To see the rest of the projects, you have to hop on over to the Nikki Sivils blog.

You are my sunshine

It is Day 3 of the There She Goes New Release Sneak Peeks.  Today we are showcasing Poultry in Motion.

I finally used my Simple Stories Summer Fresh papers, I love this paper and didn't want to break into it.  I thought that sunshine in the pattern paper worked well with the rooster.

I was inspired by this sketch at Just add Ink:

Now be sure to see what the rest of the DT have created today!  In the meantime, don't forget about the sale going on at TSG.

This is my third post for today.  To see TAWS post go here.

We are on day 2 of the There She Goes sneak peeks.  Today we are showcasing Stitched With Love.  There are so many wonderful images and sentiments in this set, perfect for all of my sewing friends!

For my card I paired the set with some Cosmo Cricket Tea for Two papers and elements along with some May Arts twine and some Vintage Seam Binding available at the Ribbon Carousel.

Believe

I have another TAWS post for you today.  I have used the new Fa-la-la set (isn't that reindeer so cute!) along with the Christmas Magic set.  The paper is from October Afternoon and the twine is Divine Twine.

You have until tomorrow night to play along in my Inspired By challenge.

I used my Amy Tangerine Sketchbook collection and the stamps are from the Oh Snap! set by There She Goes.  I am really happy with how this turned out.

I am up on the StopAndScrap blog today with a pretty little package I made with some Heidi Swapp paper, Cricut cartridges, Unity stamps, a MFT die and some twine.  This is for the City Crafter challenge -make a gift.

For more details please see the StopAndScrap blog and also Savannah is there too, you don't want to miss what she has created today!

You're Invited to a BBQ

I really like the new kit from Dani Mogstad one of the new designers at Jessica Sprague.  This one is called All American Summer and although I am Canadian, there are a lot of images and papers I can use too!  For this project I used a lot of the elements and I layered them all in a word program before I printed them out.  How easy!  No fussy cutting.  Of course I have it saved and can now print out more as needed, how quick!  I have added a bit of Air Mail Divine Twine.

Of course this also fits the JUGS challenge:

Stink at Goodbyes

This is my second post today! For my TAWS and Momenta post go here and my Ribbon Carousel post is here.

Welcome to release week for There She Goes.  For the next four days you will be getting some sneak peeks   of the four adorable new sets to be coming out.  Today we are showcasing Scent-Sational, I just love this little skunk.  When I saw this little guy holding the flower I immediately thought of 'Flower' from Bambi, and I had to make a card with him, which makes this fit the DYSU challenge - movies.  I used some Fancy Pants paper and the twine is from Divine Twine.

I am also doubling this up with the Momenta and Scor-Pal cross promotion week.  The DT at Momenta were given a Scor Buddy to play with and if you have never used any of the Scor-Pal products you are missing out, especially if you like to create gift boxes like I have done.  They make scoring straight lines so quick and easy then you get the perfect fold.

I have used the Cuddle & Coo Paper and corresponding sticker along with the soon to be released NEW Alphabet set from The Alley Way called Alphabet Soup, love the font, love that I can create any sentiment I want now!  The template is the Milk Carton template available from The Cutting Cafe and the ribbon is the May Arts V Striped twill available from Ribbon Carousel.  I used my Glue Lines® to assemble the box and the Glue Dots® to adhere the ribbon.

Here are the DT blogs to visit

So start hoppin' :) let us know what creation is your favorite.. Leave it on this post!

Margaritas

I have the challenge for you over at Ribbon Carousel and I chose paper piecing, I love to fussy cut!

I am not really sure what possessed me to paper piece a digi wearing glasses (Cheers Kaylee from SOG)!  Don't judge it too harshly please!  I did have fun with it though and of course these fun Coconut Lime Soup papers by Jillibean Soup are so easy to work with!  I tied it all off with some Twinery Twine, available at the Ribbon Carousel.

This is also for the Young Crafter's Unite challenge - many layers.

Now head on over to the Ribbon Carousel to see what the rest of the DT have done and I hope that you play along with us.

ETA: This card was in the Top 3 at 2Peas!
