Celebrate Today

I havd fun creating this card.  I dug into my Homemade collection by Pebbles - more black, pink and gray - yum!

To create the circles I just punched out 4 different pattern paper circles, cut them apart and assembled them back together on a plain white circle.  I then stitched them down.  The title is cut with my Silhouette.  The stamped sentiment is from Precious Remembrance.

I was inspired by the sketch from CAS(E) this sketch... although not sure if my is CAS :)

and this YUMMY mood board from Butterfly Reflections - I am sure I will use this one again!

Today at 47

Finally got some play time and had to use the Bella Rouge collection by Pink Paislee again.  Baby pink is my favorite color, especially paired with gray, so this collection is one of my faves!

I used a Simon Says die (Mod Circle Frame) and trimmed it down to tuck in behind the clusters.  I have also used some of my Unity stamps, love the Colliope one - the says are so inspirational for a New Year, New You type of project.  I also used the coffee stain and drip from the You Can Do Anything SMAK kit.

The title is cut with my Silhouette

A close up of the sentiments from the Colliope set.

One of a Kind

I created a layout with the Bella Rouge collection (will share that a bit later) so I figured I could make a card with it now :)

I used the Bella Rouge collection by Pink Paislee along with a Silhouette cut for this simple card.  LOVE the colors and patterns in the Bella Rouge!

I was inspired by this week's sketch at Retro Sketches... although I did sway just a bit ;)

Tea for me...

I played again.  Truth be told, I really wanted to use this to go cup die on my earlier cards but couldn't find it.  So then I thought the maybe I didn't order it, but was smart enough to check my order history before deciding to order :)

Anyhow, this is the Switchboard collection by Pink Paislee along with the Coffee Cup die from MFT (which of course for me is tea).  Once again I have used my silhouette and some Jillibean Soup letter stickers.

I am playing along with the MFT sketch challenge:

I was inspired by the colors in the Fusion challenge this week - even the touch of pink.

Pen Pals just because cards

What else does one do on a rainy day when hubby is downloading music and everyone else is napping!  You go and play in your scraproom right?!

That is what I did and it felt good to play.  I dug out my Pen Pals collection by Pink Paislee.  I actually wanted to play with Bella Rouge... but I need to hoard that one for a bit longer ;)

First up is this card.  I used the MFT pocket die to create this fun, just because card.  The 'smile' is cut with my Silhouette.

I was inspired by this sketch at the MFT Challenge Blog.

Next up another just because card.  I used a little 'hi' blueprints die from MFT and the envelope die is from Wplus9.

I was inspired by the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches:

I am also playing along with the Curtain Call inspiration.  I was inspired by the colors.

Inspiration Wall Decor

I was up on the My Mind's Eye blog yesterday with this piece of wall art I created using the Jubilee Sherbet.  I love quotes and pretty things so I created this piece to sit by my desk as inspiration to keep on track with my 2015 goals.

I have used a number of my favorite things, pretty paper, embellishments, twine, quote stamps (all from Precious Remembrance)

Of course lots of layers, staples and clips.  The bits of kraft and burlap stickers are from Simple Stories.

And of course stitching...

Unity Blog Hop

Welcome to another Unity Blog Hop!  I hope you have been leaving comments on the blogs for your chance at a prize!

I know, wrong season but I scrapbook as it comes to me.  I love this photo that I took of my daughter one day and thought that the True Friend collection by Fancy Pants was perfect for it.  I also added some Silhouette cuts.

Now where is the Unity you ask?  Sometimes I love how stamping can just add subtle details that add to the overall look.  In this case I have lightly stamped some leaves on the background paper.

Look hard you will see those leaves :)

I used the Harvest of Memories stamp set:

Now be sure to check out all of the designers and leave comments for your chance to win!
