Fly Away

I was up on the My Mind's Eye blog yesterday with the new Hello World collection.  When I got the collection I knew exactly what I wanted to do with this photo... document my desire to travel.

I love the bits and pieces that come with the collection, including stickers, post its and rub ons.  But we now also have DIES!  I cut the airplane and filmstrip with these fun dies!  the large title is cut with my Silhouette using a Kerri Bradford file.

I have also used some stamps from Precious Remembrance

and of course some Unity SMAK stamps.

It felt so good to finally do a layout again.  I hope I have the time and mojo to do another one this weekend :)

For more information you can visit the My Mind's Eye Blog.

Cottage Living Thanks

Wow, a layout yesterday and a card today... most I have scrapped in awhile!  I used the Cottage Living Collection by Pebbles along with a LOL stamp by Unity.  I am really loving fussy cutting, it never gets old :)

I am always needing thank you cards for my hostesses so a thank you card it is.

Garden time with Unity and American Crafts

I was on the Unity Blog a couple of weeks ago and never posted my project.  So here it is.  Once again I used the Dear Lizzy collection because it was still spread all over my desk because I love this collection so much!  I created this for the Inspiration Wednesday post.  How was I inspired?  You will have to head on over to the Unity Blog to see.... it is a beautiful inspiration photo so I would encourage you to see it :)

Scrapbook Adhesives and Bo Bunny Blog Hop Day 4

I am so happy to be hopping along this week with Bo Bunny and Scrapbook Adhesives!  I was sent the Heritage collection by Bo Bunny to work with and I immediately fell in love with the rose paper.

I used my Cricut (Art Philosophy) to cut out a pillow box and then the E-Z Runner to assemble it.  I tucked in some tea and thought this would make a great Mother's Day, thinking of you, friend... little gift.

Then, you know me and my fussy cutting...

So I had to cut out the leaves and make a card for dad.  I used my E-Z Runner along with some of the Adhesive Dodz to assemble my card.

I do hope that you have been checking out the Scrapbook Adhesives and Bo Bunny Blog as there is a prize up for grabs.  Be sure to enter each day!

Unity Blog Hop

Wow, 2 posts in one week, haven't done that in awhile.... and to think I used to post everyday.  I do hope to get back to crafting more...just enjoying my grand daughter as much as I can.

I hope that you have been hopping along with the Unity Hop, there are prizes up for grabs!

I used some American Crafts along with the Too Much of a Good Thing LOL I love the music background in this set and the 2 Tulips set.

I used the 2 Tulips set to stamp on the inside of my card.

I was inspired by this months color inspiration at the Be Inspired challenge - be sure to check it out, some fun sketches too!

Now be sure to hop along and visit all of the blogs for your chance to win!

Finally can share!

I was very honored when I got an email asking if I would like to be on the Scrapbook Adhesives team!  Today is my first post as a Design Team member.

I created this card for a friend who is going through a difficult time.  I used the Homemade collection by Pebbles along with the 2 Tulips stamp by Unity.  You know me and my foam squares, a definite must have in my craft room - I used them to mount the paper pieced tulips.  As for layering the other pieces, the EZ Runner is what I used.  For more information please hop on over to the Scrapbook Adhesives Blog!

I was inspired by the sketch and photo in the Fusion challenge:

As well the Curtain Call challenge - I love the tulips!
