# teacher

I had a great day today, got a lot done in my garden went on a long hike, had my parents over for dinner and even played in my craft room :)

I used the Elle's Studio Cameron and Everyday Moments to create a teacher card.  The dies are from PTI and Technique Tuesday (hashtag one) and I used a SMAK stamp from Unity along with The Learning Curve stamp set from TAWS.

Isn't that worm cute :)  I mounted him with some Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Foam Squares.

I was inspired by this sketch at Retro Sketches:

I was also inspired by this week's challenge at Cupcake Inspiration:

Boy Themed Birthday Cards

I am up on the Scrapbook Adhesive Blog with a couple of boy themed birthday cards.  I ran out of my classroom stash so you just may be seeing more child themed cards in the next little bit :)

I used the Cameron Collection by Elle's Studio - you must know that I love a collection if it more than a year old and I still use it ;)  I have also used a couple dies from My Favorite Things.  Of course adhering my pieces with Scrapbook Adhesives is what makes it go so quickly!

For more details I would love for you to check out the Scrapbook Adhesives Blog!

Unity Blog Hop

Welcome to another Unity Blog Hop.  I hope you are leaving comments along the way!

I couldn't wait to ink up the new LOL stamp set for this month French Kiss Life.  I created some little gift bags to hold some handmade soaps.

I also stamped the Classified Newsprint as an added touch.

Believe in Yourself

I was up on the My Mind's Eye blog the other day with this layout.  I combined a few different collectons (I don't do that very often) - can you guess which ones - bet not ;) ?  Be sure to check out the MME Blog for more information.

I love when I incorporate some of my Unity SMAK kits or LOL kits into my projects, they are the perfect finishing touch and such an easy way to add interest.  I used a few of them on this layout - be sure to check out the Unity Blog for which ones.

Some fussy cut flowers (love to fussy cut) and mounted with the Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives.

Time to be Happy Again

Welcome to another Unity Blog Hop.  Can you believe I created another layout?!  I hope this is the start of many more.  I used the Dear Lizzy Serendipity collection.  Love the mix of colors and patterns in this collection.  It also felt good to add a bunch of my favorite techniques to this layout - stitching, stamping, fussy and die cutting.  I used a few different stamp sets the You can do Anything (SMAK kit - love the coffee stain stamps);  Becoming Who I Am; Time to be Happy Again (both are LOL) and finally the Small Things Matter Most (KOM).  The main title is a Kerri Bradford cut file and the butterfly is from My Favorite Things.

I fussy cut the large flowers and the letter G from some of the pattern paper.  The G is mounted on foam squares (Scrapbook Adhesives) and I like how it is for Grandma and also looks like an arrow pointing to the main sentiment.

Lots of layers, stitching, die cutting and staples...

I even snuck on some washi tape...

Now be sure to hop along and leave comments for your chance at a prize!
