One sip at a time...

I just got some new Pebbles product in the mail and couldn't wait to use it.  I thought this was kind of timely... who else is happy about the return of Pumpkin Spice?!

I used then new Woodland Forest collection along with some some MFT dies (Coffee Cup Die) and stamp (Stay Cool).

I mounted the cup on foam squares.

I am playing along with the MFT sketch challenge:

I was also inspired by this photo at the Pinspirational challenge

Hello... me again ;)

The other day when I created my coffee cards I also created this one.  I love how different the cards look, all from the same paper pack.  I got my sewing groove back on as I stitched not only some messy stitching on the sides but I also added some to the main images...kind of feeling it again.  I hope this lasts!

Once again it is Shimelle paper and the die is from My Favorite Things.

At it again!

You know apart from major family issues a couple of years ago that set me back in my crafting - lost mojo etc - I have also been battling hypothyroid, anemia and depression!  Luckily I think I have gotten a handle on them... I really want to get into my craft room more, not necessarily daily like before (if I do, I would be happy, but starting slow ;) )

I used some Shimelle paper and created a couple of coffee themed cards.  I really tried to make them very CAS - like basically a stamped sentiment with the coffee cup on foam squares... but the cards morphed, LOL!

On this first one I snipped the word smile off of the tag and replaced it with coffee... I think it works ;)  The coffee die is from  The Ton.  I fussy cut the 'label' for the coffee cup and adhered it then mounted the cup on foam squares.

You can see the little 'smile' I snipped from the tag above tucked in behind the cup.  The stamped sentiment is from Pink and Main

Back to School card

I am heading in to school again today, but thought I would play for a bit first :)  I was checking out my Inspired By Pinterest board and it got me in the mood for creating.  I guess the school themed party picture jumped out at me because I am prepping for the big day myself.

Anyhow, I used some Chickaniddy Crafts papers to create a school themed card.

The apple die is from Wplus9, the stars are from Simon Says.

And I am so glad to have my Silhouette all working again!  I always seem to tuck a phrase onto my projects.

I used this sketch (love sketch challenges!), although I did flip it.

Now to see the fun photo I was inspired by... check it out here

I was inspired by a smoothie!

I love my Inspired By Pinterest board, it just makes my heart happy to look at it.  Sometimes it inspires me to get creative and this time, I was surprised to find the image I liked was linked to a smoothie recipe!

I used the Teresa Collins Nine & Co papers to create this card.

To see what inspired me... and the yummy sounding smoothie recipe... check out my other blog.

Upcycled Thrift Store Purse

Don't faint now.  It is me again.  I know this is not going to be a regular appearance... so I am enjoying it while I can :)

I have had this purse and moss kicking around for a few years knowing full well what I wanted to do with it - was just waiting for a rainy day.  Well that day came :)

I basically just covered the little purse with some Mod Podge and adhered the moss.  Talk about easy!
Don't you love the gorgeous background of a desk that I am working on?!  That has been my crafting table for over 10 years so it has been well used... just keeping it real ;)

I then held it in place with some clothes pegs.

The next day (today actually - real time blogging happening!) I just added bits and pieces where there needed to be fills.

Of course, nothing for me is complete without a bit of paper crafting to top it off, so I whipped up a little tag using my Papertrey Ink stamp and Ink from Simon Says.

Now it graces my new potting bench just outside my door so that I get to look at it often.  You can see it here.

Hello Beautiful...

I saw a gorgeous photo on Pinterest and it inspired me :)

The photo is here.

I used some Open Book papers by Crate Paper  and did some fussy cutting.
I miss my crafting.
It was nice to have a bit of time this morning to play.

The die is from My Favorite Things.
