Celebrate the Good Stuff

For the Top 10(ish) Blog Hop.... and chance at a prize.... Click HERE.  Ends tonight at midnight so be sure to get your entries in!

I have a simple but fun card to share for you... it is my New Years card.  How are you celebrating New Years this  year?

I used the Half Full stamp set for the wine glasses and then the Playful Backgrounds stamp set to mimic the feel of bubbles.

I mounted the wine glasses on foam squares for some dimension as well as adding some clear gems.  The stamped sentiments are from the NEW and soon to be released stamp set...Picture Perfect Birthday.... it is so versatile!  I kept the card very clean and simple.

Sweet Birthday

For the Top 10(ish) Blog Hop.... and chance at a prize.... Click HERE.

I wanted to play with the sketch from MFT again and in keeping with the food theme... this time I went with cookies.  Once again, building my birthday card stash.

I can't believe there is no pattern paper.  That doesn't happen often ;)  I used the Squared Off Panel from Reverse Confetti as the background once again.  I used the You're the Milk to My Cookie die and Cookie Crumbs stamp set from MFT.

To add interest, I mounted the die cut panel on foam strips.  I also stamped and cut apart a sentiment.  I added a die cut sentiment (Echo Park)

Celebrate.... Cue the Confetti card trio

For the Top 10(ish) Blog Hop.... and chance at a prize.... Click HERE.

I am playing with more soon to be released goodies from SU!  How fun!  Definitely building my birthday card stash!

For these cards I have used the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set along with the Picture Perfect Designer paper.  I did also add a couple of dies. Those will be shared at the end of the post.

First up, the first card that I created.  I played around with that 'blower' until I had a color combo that I liked.

Simple layering of the die cut sentiment and the images.  I mounted the stamped sentiment and a couple of images on foam squares for dimension.

Next up, I had fun with this one!  I fussy cut the candles from some of the pattern paper.  I die cut the box then stamped with Playful Backgrounds stamp set for some interest. The box die is from Neat and Tangled.

Once again, a die cut sentiment and the stamped sentiment.

I then made a skinny card.  I used a tag die and sentiment circle die from MFT.  This die cut panel was mounted on foam strips for dimension.

Once again, those fun stamped images and yes there are more sentiments in the stamp set, I just really like this one!

Two Hot Chocolate Themed cards

For the Top Ten Blog Hop (and giveaway) please scroll down or click HERE.

I'm back with a couple of winter themed cards and playing along with the MFT sketch challenge for this week.  I created 2 very similar cards.  Such a fun sketch.

First up to create the background I used my Silhouette.  I have used it that much lately and it was feeling neglected. ;)

I then stamped and paper pieced the cute little snowman from the Cool Friend stamp set and used the Warm Heart Paper.  The mug is the Hot Cocoa die from MFT and the sentiment is from the Hug in a Mug set.  I added a vellum snowflake using the Let it Snow dies from MFT.  As a final touch I added some marshmallows from the Toasted Marshmallow die set from MFTThe images are mounted on foam squares for dimension.

Next up, I used the Squared Off Panel from Reverse Confetti as the background this time.

Many of the same items have been used on this card as well - the Hot Cocoa, Toasted Marshmallow and Let it Snow dies from MFT.  I then added a sentiment (which I cut apart) from the hotchocolate2stamp set from The Stamps of Life.  I die cut the word hug and added it.  The paper on this card is from Echo Park Perfect Winter.

Now here is the sketch that I used:
